For companies to who need to find a social media professional to handle a specific project like creating a Facebook page, they can post the project and social media professionals will respond. The professional who gets selected by the company will complete the project and get paid by the professional.
How exactly does SocialSkyline.com Work?
SocialSkyline.com is a marketplace between companies (the Clients) who need social media work completed (like a Facebook page designer or a tweeting project for a month). Clients post projects and offer a specific amount of money to be paid for the project.
Social media professionals (the Experts) respond to the available project. The client will browse through all the responses from the experts and browse experts' profiles and feedback. Eventually, the client will select one of the experts who responded to complete the project. Once the project is completed, the client will mark it completed and the expert will be paid the project. See the FAQs on how much an expert is paid. The client will also rate the expert and provide a feedback number.
How much does it cost for companies to post social media projects?
SocialSkyline.com does not charge the company to join or post projects. However, the company will need to deposit funds so the selected professional can get paid. SocialSkyline.com does not make a profit from deposits. All deposits are currently accepted on Paypal.
How much does it cost for a social media professional to respond to an open project?
All social media professionals join for free. SocialSkyline.com does not charge the professional to join or respond to projects. If the professional is selected by the company to complete a social media project, the professional will be paid by SocialSkyline.com what the project is paying with a deduction of 1% of that project fee plus Paypal fees (which were collected from the company who posted the project), so for a social media project paying $100, the professional is paid $95.80 ($100 - $100*.029 - .30 - 1%), still not a bad amount of money for doing a social media job.
Why can I only log in through Facebook and not a regular username?
Hey, we are all social media professionals. Who does not have a Facebook account. Besides, it is more secure to log in this way since you never need to worry about another password.
